Developing a visual identity for MONOLYTH's Chapter Two Compilation Album.

Introduction

I ran the MONOLYTH label spanning across its early releases, primarily focusing on artdirection of compilations. This second chapter in the MONOLYTH compilation series introduces a follow-up to the debut. A handful of CHAPTER ONE artists join forces with new artists. Naturally, an evolution of artwork from chapter one was needed, to indicate growth.

The Concept

Each release week features 3 tracks, centralized around a single theme. Monday and Wednesday tracks revealed hints for each of the Friday releases, living up to this "final" reveal of that week's theme. This allowed us to highlight the premier release of that week, while allowing users to remain engaged as early previews are given.
